Facility Inventory Person

  • Requires travel (company paid airfare, hotel, meal per diem, car rental and parking).
  • May require a weekend layover once in a while with plenty of notice
  • All travel will be in the United States, its territories and Canada.
  • Able to walk and stand 7-10 hours a day
  • Able to work in different environments (outside, inside, cold and hot).
  • Able to climb ladders and work on Flat roof tops (sometimes many stories above ground).
  • Must follow directions well and pay attention to all safety related details
  • Have good communication skills
  • Basic tablet / computer skills, internet, skype, excel and basic apps.
  • Basic building construction knowledge or willing to learn quickly.
  • Basic HVAC identification a big plus
  • This is a perfect job for a retired person looking to work part time, while seeing the country and making extra money. It is also ideal for a fulltime person who likes to travel and get paid to do it. The job will have you working as a team collecting basic building inventory locations (rooms, floor types, square footage, ETC). Collection of HVAC type assets and their data (air conditioners, boilers, heating and cooling equipment, generators, ETC.). You will be using a state-of-the-art data collection app on a company provided tablet. Training will be mostly online and in the field.

    Technical Service Manager

    As a Technical Service Manager, you will be based remotely and expected to deploy and maintain a cloud/mobile application for front line workforces. We have an impressive range of customer applications ranging from maintenance data collection to healthcare and education. You will join our team and share lessons learned and expertise from around the world.

    Responsibilities

    • Needs assessments and technology requirements definition for service delivery projects
    • Development of mobile technology systems using Dimagi’s  mobile platform, CommCare HQ
    • Solution design on CommCare based on project-specific functionality and data needs
    • Platform refinements and roadmap  from user feedback to software developers
    • Training groups of users how to use the tool effectively
    • Technical and programmatic support and monitoring of project activity
    • Data analysis and development of data analysis tools and reports to ensure that the information gathered by our mobile tool is meaningful and actionable to our partners
    • Technical documentation as well as the development of visual learning aids
    • Development of software test plans, as well as load testing and quality assurance (QA) of our mobile ‘and Web based tools

    Skills & Requirements

    • Degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related – or equivalent work experience
    • Experience with relational databases: 1 – 4+ years of cumulative work experience
    • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
    • Reliable, self-directed, and resourceful
    • Able to juggle many things at once and able to get things done
    • Flexible and able to wear many hats / take on multiple roles
    • Interested and able to work in a multi-cultural, distributed, and international team setting

    Note that experience with programming mobile phones is NOT a requirement.

    Desirable

    • Quantitative data management and data analysis skills
    • Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, PHP, ELASTICSEARCH or Python
    • UBUNTU-LINUX SERVER deployment and maintenance {virtual environments a plus}
    • Knowledge of the complete software development lifecycle

This person is able to self-organize and self-manage, thrives on the intricacy and challenge of application design and project management, enjoys travel and fieldwork, and functions at a high level when interacting with partners. This person is detail-oriented and comfortable with mobile tools and, if he/she does not have software development experience already, has at least been exposed to the software development process. While we require a 24-month commitment for this position, employment at Grable Consulting Services is open ended contingent on positive progress. This makes it a great position for someone seeking to build a career in software development.

    Senior IBM Maximo Consultants​

    Grable Consulting Services is looking Senior Consultants experienced with Enterprise Asset Management for our IBM Maximo implementation practice. Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience with Work Management and/or Supply Chain business processes. Senior Consultants will contribute to the implementation of the IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Solutions ​application using Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. Contributions will be in the form of the development and application of leading business practices, the collection of documentation of functional and detailed business requirements, IBM Maximo system design, development and execution of system tests, and participation in Change Management including end-user training material development. Candidates should have 5 or more years of experience with Enterprise Asset Management Systems. Candidates with one or more certifications (SMRP) or/and with direct hands-on experience with IBM Maximo products with subject matter expertise in Asset/Work Management and/or Supply Chain is a plus.

    IBM Maximo Developers

    Grable Consulting Services is looking for IBM Maximo Technical Consultants to support project teams and provide technical solutions to IBM Maximo projects. Technical Consultants are responsible for IBM Maximo product installation and initial setup, migration of customer legacy data into IBM Maximo and the design, development and documentation of interface with IBM Maximo. Candidates should have 3 or more years of related experience with IBM Maximo release 5, 6 and/or 7. Candidates should have a working knowledge of IBM Maximo and possess the following skills:

    • Windows Server OS and AIX/Linux/Solaris
    • Enterprise Database (Oracle, SQL-Server, DB2)
    • SOA – WebLogic and/or WebSphere
    • Excellent Structured Query Language (SQL)
    • Data Conversion
    • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Tools
    • Interface Development
    • Enterprise Services Bus Technologies
    • Understanding of Network TCP/IP
